And that's it. Christmas is over. All that chaos for nothing. You can now sit and relax with this week's playlist...
Justin Bieber ft. Nicki Minaj - Beauty And A Beat
Peaking at number 5 in the Hot 100, this video was shot in documentary style, featuring the ever infamous selfie stick. Nicki is premieres her sassy pink locks and compliments it by wearing everything pink. She actually co -wrote this song for Bieber with DJ and producer Zedd. It also had many people talking when there seemed to be a line about Selena Gomez in the song. Sit back and relax, chill at the pool party.
Mud- Tiger Feet
Major throwback here with a song from 1974! This song managed to get the band their first UK number one. It's sure to get you on your feet and dancing, You'll be likely to make your own dance routine with this one, especially if you're not shy to show off your moves. Keep it topical and go dancing in the mud?
Deep Blue Something- Breakfast At Tiffany's
This is an all time favourite of mine, especially because it goes hand in hand with one of the most accredited films. Breakfast At Tiffany's starred the stunning Audrey Hepburn, who plays the high class escort looking for a man to marry. Whilst not the most grossing song on the soundtrack, this song stayed in the charts for over 90 weeks. It's a true feel-good song by Deep Blue Something to keep your spirits up this Boxing Day.
Natasha Bedingfield- Unwritten
As well as being the theme song for the US reality show The Hills, it reached number 5 in the charts, making it Natasha's first top ten. She stayed in the Hot 100 for 39 weeks and her estimated sales reached nearly three million. This meant Natasha was the third highest ranked female artist in 2006, losing out to Shakira and Nelly Furtado.
Wheatus- Teenage Dirtbag
Released back in 2000, this was the debut single and lead song on Wheatus' first album. This track spent four weeks at number one in Australia, and peaked at number two in the UK, Ireland and Germany. To this day, it has sold over 5 million copies and is a true cheesy club classic.
