Its everyone's favourite night of the week again. Get yourself prepped for a night in celebration for St Paddy's day...
Ed Sheeran - Galway Girl
Galway Girl has got everyone attempting to get their Irish jig on. Turns out this song isn't about Ed's other half, but in fact written in ode of Irish fiddle player Niamh Dunne from the band Beoga. I know, we were shocked too.
Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man
Written by English folk band Mumford & Sons, this song was everywhere in 2009. The song itself is about being in a difficult situation that, surprise, surprise, you really don't want to be in. It was the debut single for the band's debut album, Sigh No More.
The Lumineers - Ophelia
Released just over a year ago, Ophelia has received over 136 million streams on Spotify. The band tried to changed the name of this song because a song with the same name was launched many years before by The Band. However, Wesley Schultz, the band's lead singer, eventually decided that no other name fit into the song as well.
Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks
As the debut single for the band, Little Talks spread like wild fire after its release in 2011. It received great critical reception - even being described as a "monster hit" by USA Today. It was also the band's first song to be certified platinum in the US.
The Harmaleighs - I Keep Ticking On
The Harmaleighs are an American folk band who call Nashville, Tennessee home. The duo started making music together in 2013 after being brought together for a love of folk music. The girls dropped I Keep Ticking On in 2015 to promote their newest album Hesitate.
