After a long first week of lent why not indulge yourself in this week's playlist to help kick start your motivation for the next few days...
The Script - The Man Who Can't Be Moved
The Man Who Can't Be Moved was the band's second smash hit. It just missed out on the top spot, peaking at number two in 2008. The Script has now made their name around the world by releasing four albums in total, which all topped the album charts in the UK and Ireland. Their second album, Science & Faith, even got to number three in the US.
One Direction - Perfect (Stripped)
One Direction have had one hell of a journey. From being thrust together in the seventh series of The X Factor, to Zayn leaving and finally taking a break from the band altogether. Although they may not be performing together right now we all (okay, maybe not everyone) pray for the day they get back together.
DNCE - Truthfully
American funk pop DNCE consists of the one and only Joe Jonas (previously a member of the Jonas Brothers), Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle and JinJoo Lee. The group are known for their single Cake By The Ocean, which was dropped in 2015. The band have also been nominated for Favourite New Artist at the 2016 Kids' Choice Awards and Best Song to Lip Sync and Best Anthem at the 2016 Radio Disney Awards.
Isaiah - It's Gotta Be You
Winner of the eighth series of The X Factor Australia, Isaiah, is a young star on his way to the big time. He has been announced as this year's representative for Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest and we can't wait to see how he'll do.
Demi Lovato - Body Say
Demi has had a crazy journey to fame and even after she reach her pop star status. After appearing on Barney & Friends as a child, she continued her journey as an actress from there until she got a record deal with Hollywood Records in 2008. Since then she has mostly concentrated on her singing career, only taking a break from the spot light in 2010 for personal reasons.
Julia Michaels - Issues
Issues was the first song sing/songwriter Julia Michaels kept for herself. Michaels began her to write tacks for artists in her late teens and collabed with several major artists, such as Zedd, Kygo, Years & Years, Ed Sheeran and many more. The 23-year-old also performed as the closing ceremony of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Jeneiro, so expect to see this girls name everywhere.
HONNE - Good Together
This electronic duo consists of James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck. The pair write, record and produce all their music (which, if you didn't already know, is becoming a rare talent in the world of music). The boys released this tune on their debut album in the summer of 2016.
