After the release of Ed Sheeran's newest album, ÷, he seems to be taking over the world one song at a time.

If you haven't heard at least one song off Ed Sheeran's new album by now, you must be living under a rock. He. Is. Everywhere.

Although he only has three songs in the UK Top 40 Charts (not that that's not impressive), Sheeran has managed to bag himself the top 16 spots on Spotify's UK Top 50, which consists of the most played songs in the UK right now.

Sheeran is well on the way to dominate the charts with all 16 of his songs expected to enter. He's also expected to become the first artist to have all top four singles at once.

Adele currently holds the top spot for first-week sales with 25 closely followed by Oasis's Be Here Now. Both albums sold over 800,000 in their first week.

Sheeran has stated that he wants to beat Adele's weekly sales.

The album has become one of the fastest selling albums in the UK with over 432,000 copies sold in just three days.

We'll all have to wait anxiously for the final first-week sales figures on Friday to find out who has taken the crown.

Everyone seems to be going crazy for his album and can you blame them? Take a listen for yourself and let us know what you think of ÷.
