Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out Of My Head

It has been the battle of the Kylies. Unsurprisingly Aussie pop queen Kylie Minogue has won the legal battle with Kardashian clan member, Kylie Jenner, for the right to continue to trade under her own famous name.

Madonna - Like A Prayer

In other legal news, the music legend, Madonna, has apparently been granted permission to adopt two more children from Malawi, a court spokesperson has announced. But less than two weeks ago Madonna denied reports she'd applied to adopt any more children, during a charity visit to Malawi.

La La Land - City of Stars

The soundtrack to Hollywood musical La La Land, sang by actors Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, ended legendary Ibiza DJ Pete Tong's reign at the top of the album charts on Friday. The film has picked up multiple awards already this award's season and is set for success at the Oscars later this month.

Black Sabbath - Paranoid

All good things must come to an end. After 50 years, Black Sabbath have called it quits. The metal group played their final show in their home town Birmingham. The group's singer Ozzy Osborn said: "I remember playing the Crown pub in Birmingham and thinking, 'This'll be good for a couple of years - drink a few beers and have a jam'.

Lady Gaga - Applause

And to round off this week's playlist is the woman on everyone's lips, Lady Gaga. She took on the legendary Super Bowl half-time show and lived to tell the tale. Gaga dove from the roof’s ledge, sang while suspended like a marionette, and was carried around by assistants as if she were Prince in a crowd. For the finale she caught a football midair after hopping off a tall staircase.
