In this week's playlist from Will, you are getting a sneak peak into what he's been listening to over these past few days. Hope you enjoy!
Green Buzzard - Do You Ever Glow?
This weeks playlist has a slight pop punk feel to it and to kick us off we have the mysterious Aussie band Green Buzzards. Signing to I Oh You records in Melbourne the band previous had performed no live shows, and had no reviews or no songs but suddenly have a lot to offer.
Splashh - Rings
Are another band I've only just discovered recently, their indie rock vibe has me constantly playing Splashh whenever I can. Orignally from Hackney, East London I'd like to welcome front man and guitarist Sasha Frantz Carlson, guitarist and synth player Taddeo "Toto" Vivian MacDonald, bassist Thomas Beal, and synth player Jaie Gonzalez.
Circa Waves - Wake Up
Keeping on indie rock band-wagon but this time from Liverpool, it's Circa Waves. They're relatively new to the scene forming in 2013 they currently only have one single and an EP but I can't wait to hear more.
Lower Than Atlantis - High At Five
This may be a biased pick, however if you haven't heard of this great band Hertfordshire then it is my pleasure to have shown them to you. I've been listening to LTA for so many years, realising their first full-length album Far Q was released 7 years ago is making me feel old.
Decade - British Weather
The first time I saw Decade was when they supported Lower Than Atlantis and I immediately was hooked. With their second studio album out on the 24th of February it'll be a great interest of mine to see how they have grown. I'll keep you posted on more of this sooner to the date.
Young Fathers - SHAME
Although last on the list it by no means reflects Young Fathers talent. If there was ever an award for the most English music video then surely this would be my nomination, even if they are a hip hop and pop group based in Edinburgh, Scotland.
