The song became Tyler's biggest hit reaching the top spot in the charts in several countries including the UK. It has sold six million copies worldwide and is guaranteed to get you singing at the top of your lungs.

Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is

Like Tyler, this power ballad sung by Foreigner is their greatest and most well-known hit worldwide. The band itself is one of the best selling bands of all time with worldwide sales of more than 80 million records.

Belinda Carlisle - Heaven Is A Place On Earth

Belinda Carlisle released this song in 1987 and is widely know as her signature song due to its success worldwide. It was Carlisle's only US chart topper also received the top spot in UK single charts. The track was also nominated for the Best Female Vocal Performance Grammy Award.

Aerosmith - I Don't Want To Miss A Thing

Aerosmith is considered one of the best rock bands in America and have sold more than 150 million records worldwide, 25 gold albums, 18 platinum albums and 12 multi-platinum albums. They've also received four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards and ten MTV Music Video Awards so it is hardly a surprise they've gained the status of best rock bands.

Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U

Written by singer/songwriter Prince, Sinead O'Connor made the song famous in 1990 and it became the third best selling single in 1990. The music video for this single became extremely renowned and received a variety of awards including Video of the Year at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards. This made history as O'Connor was the first female artist to win this award.

Toto - Africa

Africa was written and sung by American Rock Band, Toto. The song was released in 1982 and is about a boy trying to write a song on Africa despite never going there. The bands keyboardist and vocalist, David Piach, co-wrote the song and explained he got the inspiration for the song after watching a moving documentary on the death and danger the people in Africa face.


Dropped in 1976 by rock band Boston as the lead single of their debut album, More Than A Feeling is now known as a leading track for classic rock. Several years after the release, VH1, an American cable television network, named the song the 39th best hard rock song of all time.
