Its Saturday night and it is time to get our glad rags on to dance into the early hours of the morning with these 00's tunes...

This song was brought out in 2008 and with it's unbelievably catchy tune and cheesy music video there is no doubt it will have you jumping around the room. Basshunter is a Swedish artist who rose to fame in the UK with his hit single Now You're Gone in 2007.

Fergie and Will.I.Am - Fergalicious

Fergalicious was the second song released from Fergie's album The Dutchess and reached number two in the Top 100 charts in the US. Sadly it was not as successful in the UK charts. However, here at Chooniverse we think it deserves a place on this playlist to get you in the mood for your night's future antics.

Akon and Eminem - Smack That

Smack That was a smash hit when it was dropped in 2006 rocketing to the top spot in 10 charts from around the world. It also received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and has been given gold and platinum certifications with over three million downloads across the US.

Everytime We Touch was covered by trio Cascada in 2006 and was released around the world after the success the tune had in the US. The music video features the lead singer, Natalie Horler, trying to communicate with her crush in the library - we've all been there right?

Calvin Harris - The Girls

Our favourite Scottish DJ released this track on his debut studio album in 2007 and we love him for gracing us with this song. It peaked at number three in the UK charts making it his highest charting song at the time. Along with The Girls, Acceptable In The 80's was another single featuring on his first album.

Kanye West and Jamie Foxx - Gold Digger

Released in 2005, Gold Digger became Kanye West's and Jamie Foxx's second number one in the US. The song gained popularity quickly and broke the record for most digital downloads - this has now been broken - and at the 2006 Grammy Awards was nominated for Record of the Year and won Best Rap Solo Performance. The song continues to be playing in clubs around the world.

Sean Paul - Temperature

Temperature is Sean Paul's third number one single in the US. It then went on to win the Grammy Award in 2007 for Dance Song of the Year and gained platinum certification. All of this made Temperature Paul's biggest hit single and remains a favourite in the Chooniverse HQ.

Feel old yet?!
