And that’s the end of that. Clean Bandit’s seven week campaign for the chart top spot has come to an end at the hands of Ed Sheeran…

First we had +, then we had x, now Ed is back with two brand new tracks off his upcoming album ÷. It comes as no surprise that just two days after his new songs' debuts, they roared to the top of the UK charts claiming spots one and two.

Still coming in strong is BBC Sound of 2017 runner up, Rag'N'Bone Man, with Human, which for the first time since its release, is sat above Rockabye. For weeks it seemed like Rockabye was going to be unstoppable, nothing could make it budge. That just goes to show, if anyone can do the impossible, it's Ed.
