Welcome to this weeks Feel-Good Friday playlist!
This week we're going all the way back to the 70s as well as taking a trip to the 90s to find the ultimate feel-good track. Enjoy!
James Brown – Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag
Kicking things off with a song from the godfather of funk himself, this song is
guaranteed to have you smiling! With its funky bass and upbeat horns, James
brings the feel-good vibes with this funk classic.
Jamiroquai – Virtual Insanity
This 90s classic is probably one of the most feel-good tunes of all time!
Accompanied by a awesome video and that hat, Jamiroquai might’ve been left
back in the 90s, but he’s still bringing us those good vibes well into the 21st century
with this track.
KC and The Sunshine Band – Boogieman
From the feel-good machine that is KC and The Sunshine Band, this is the
epitome of a feel-good song. Awesome piano riffs, a catchy chorus and some
funky horns add up to make this track a guaranteed feel-good time.
Otis Day and The Knights – Shout
Becoming the ultimate party starter tune since it was featured in the awesome
70s film Animal House, this four-to- the-floor single will have anyone dancing and
smiling in seconds.
Gloria Jones – Tainted Love
Tainted Love has had an interesting history after its 1979 release. Being first
covered by Soft Cell and then Marilyn Manson, ask different people about the
song and each one will probably have a different version in their head than the
other. Regardless, the original Gloria Jones version is a Northern Soul classic, as
well as a feel-good classic!
