With the new year finally come, it can be easy to get caught up in how 2017 will be a better year than the one before it. Will's new playlist is here to try to help remind you not to focus too much on times past and future. It's important to realise that now is all we have.
Asher Roth - G.R.I.N.D. (Get Ready It's A New Day)
American born rapper Asher Roth, from Pennsylvania is one of my long time favourites. His 2009 studio album Asleep in the Bread Aisle has always been on every Ipod I have ever owned. With a slight jazz rap tone, he's perfect to stick on when chilling with your mates.
Paolo Nutini - Iron Sky [Abbey Road Live Session]
I remember first hearing Paolo's album Sunny Side Up on my Dad's speakers when I was younger, and now everyone can recognise New Shoes. But his later classics such as this one make him the great musician that so many have come to love.
Chaka Demus & Pliers - Twist and Shout Feat. Jack Radics
I first listened to Chaka Demus & Pliers when watching a very late night showing of Reggae at the BBC on BBC four. Despite the terrible hour I managed to remember the band and since have made an appearance on every playlist that I've made.
Matisyahu - One Day (Live)
If you haven't heard of Matisyahu then let me introduce you to one of the most humble artists I know of. Matthew Paul Miller is better known by his Hebrew and stage name Matisyahu. As a Jewish American reggae vocalist, he is also know as a talented beatboxer, and brilliant alternative rock musician.
Engine-Earz - Channeling
I thought I would end this playlist with the chilled sound of Engine-EarZ Experiment, a musical group based in the UK who formed in 2009. They only have two albums at the minute, with the latest from 2013, however we can expect much more from these dubstep artists.
