With a capacity of 60,000 people, this quirky little festival in the city of Winchester, England recreates a whole new fictional town within for the ninth year running.
“Welcome to Boomtown, a city of wonderment, theatre, escapism and community with breath-taking and intricate stages and streets just waiting to be discovered. Hilltop, Downtown, Temple Valley and Whistlers Green. Each district is filled with fully immersive venues and beatnik characters. As you explore all the city has to offer, remember to think about where you will make your home.”
Town Centre:-
The Town Centre showcases the biggest bands and musicians from around the world. The main stage is quite literally at the centre of all the madness.
Trenchtown:-
If you’re all about the Reggae, Dance and Jungle genres, then you’ve found your home here. Nicknamed the Lion’s Den, it’s at the centre of a sensory world. Be ready for cascading waterfalls, flaming towers and a ground-breaking sound system.
Old Town:-
The foodie capital of Boomtown; this district is home to taverns and rum houses galore. So whether you're looking to try new alcohol or grab a bite to eat, you'd be hard pushed not to find something for everyone.
Wild West:-
Step inside the ultimate interactive Western times and discover the very best in new folk, blue grass and hillbilly acts. Decorated with old saloons and Wild West alike. But beware, these streets are ruled by the corrupt sheriff and his cronies who love a good shootout with people trepassing on their territory.
There are eleven districts in total, with Whistlers Green, Kidstown, Forrest Parties, Sector 6, District 5, Barrio Loco and Chinatown also in the mix of this magical land,
