Welcome to this week’s Feel Good Friday playlist...

This week features a French Jesus lookalike, a funk legend and the moodiest rapper in show business. This playlist is sure to be keeping you feeling good all weekend!

Junior SeniorMove your body

The best thing to come out of Thistead, Denmark since… ok, not a lot comes out of Thistead

Denmark, but once in a blue moon we get something as feel-good as Move your Body. Coming from Jesper “Junior” Mortensen and Jeppe “Senior” Laurensen who both come from the town, this happy song will have you smiling all weekend.

This impossibly upbeat track from French musician and Jesus lookalike (seriously, Google it),

Breakbot is literally what happiness would sound like if you managed to turn it into a 3-minute track. Off the equally upbeat album, By The Way, every one of Breakbot’s tunes forces you to smile with its old-school synths and cheery lyrics.

Earth, Wind and FireSeptember

An absolute feel-good classic, this 1978 hit will make anyone feel good who listens to it. The happy refrain of “ba-dee- yah” was actually a mistake, with member Allee Willis being quoted as saying: "I said; 'We are going to change ba-dee- ya; to real words, right?; ... I learned my greatest lesson ever in song writing from that day, which was never let the lyric get in the way of the groove.” Lesson learnt.

Rick JamesBustin’ Out

Rick James, the man, the legend (check out Dave Chappelle’s True Hollywood Stories to see what I mean) brings the funk with this classic 70s track. Featuring some seriously funky bass, some cool trumpets and Rick’s unique vocals, this single truly deserves its place on this week’s Feel- Good Friday playlist.

Kanye West feat. T-Pain – Welcome to the Good Life

Before the on stage rants and afternoons at Trump Tower, Kayne was a simpler artist and probably a lot cheerier. This is clear when listening to the nearly ten year old Good Life, with Kayne making us all a bit happier with some bouncy synths and T-Pain’s awesome auto-tune chorus.

Room 5Make Luv

This epic sample of Get Down Saturday Night will make anyone’s Friday that little bit better. With a classic disco sounds mixed in with an infectious house beat, this feel-good track will have your face smiling and your feet moving.
