The only Cornish coast party around is set to be lit next summer, with some of the best alternative bands set to perform.

The Vaccines, along with Alt-J and Two Door Cinema Club, will be headlining this quirky beach event.

Although not well known throughout the UK, Boardmasters has been the biggest international professional surf contest and festival on the calendar.

Running for 35 years, it has attracted some of the biggest surf stars as well as A-Class celebrities to perform over the course of this 5 day event. Previous headliners have included: Ed Sheeran, Chasing Status and Calvin Harris! So it's obvious all the stars want to bask in the summer sun too.

If fields and muddy wellies aren't for you, then swap it for the golden coast of Cornwall, which boasts 300 miles of sandy coastline.

Relax with your friends, soak up the sun and listen to beach side gigs while the sun goes down.
