Welcome to this week's Mellow Monday playlist, this week is a mix of the best chill out hip-hop and some relaxing rock...

Jay-Z- Feelin’ It

This cool hip-hop track from Jay-Z’s first album Reasonable Doubt still sounds as good today 20 years later as it did it 1996. Featuring a relaxing sung chorus and chilled out verses from Jay-Z, this track is a perfect way to kick off your Mellow Monday

Coldplay - Don't Panic

Featured on the incredible Garden State soundtrack, this mid-noughties track from the album Parachutes is the perfect track to mellow out to. Perfectly finding the balance between euphoric and relaxed, this track is perfect to wake up to or go to bed to.

Mumm-Ra - She’s Got you High

British group Mumm-Ra raise the bar for indie music with this underrated gem. Finding itself on the 500 Days Of Summer soundtrack, this indie hit is the perfect addition to any chilled playlist.

Doves - There goes the fear

With a trippy video to accompany it, this sounds off-kilter track and spacey feel make it a great addition to this playlist. From the album The Last Broadcast, this alternative classic is the perfect mix of chilled and upbeat.

Outkast Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik

This track's ridiculously long title might put some people off, but it would be a big mistake to give it a miss. Coming from the 1993 album of the same name, this track perfectly encapsulates Outkast’s cool and relaxed sound. A fairly unknown song from the duo, this is definitely not one to be missed.

Kaiser Chiefs - Love’s Not a Competition

Coming from the album Yours Truly, Angry Mob, this track is far from anything an angry mob might play. With a not so typical love story layered over soaring and spacey guitar sounds, this Kaiser Chiefs classic is the perfect track to mellow out to.
