Get your party started with these dance anthems...
John Gibbons – Would I Lie To You
Twenty-four years after Charles and Eddie released the smash hit, Irish DJ John Gibbons remixed it into an incredibly catchy club hit. The original track was a sweet song, in which Charles and Eddie say they wouldn’t want to hurt their loved ones. Gibbons has managed to transform the it
into a tune that you can’t stop moving to.
Calvin Harris – My Way
Rumours sparked that this particular Calvin Harris song was about his messy break up with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift. However, Harris revealed that the song is, in fact, about leaving his grocery store job in Scotland to pursue his music career – thank god he did!
Wilkinson and Karen Harding – Sweet Lies
Wilkinson has topped off 2016 with his most recent track. After his album Lazers Not
Included reached number two in the UK Dance charts in 2013, he has worked with many
famous artists such as, Katy B, Wretch 32 and Angel Haze.
Erick Morillo and Eddie Thoneick – Lost In You
The king of house has returned from the darkness. Erick Morillo is renowned for his mammoth
sets, which made him the well-deserved winner of Best International DJ and Best House
DJ three times at the DJ Awards. Morillo has announced his first UK tour in over a decade. The tour started November 18 and continues until November 27. This is a tour you definitely do not want to miss.
Hannah Wants and Chris Lorenzo – Rhymes
After a career in football, Hannah Wants broke through in 2010 by filling in for a DJ at Es
Paradise – a super club in Ibiza. She was then named Best Breakthrough DJ in 2012 by
MixMag and DJMag. This track, released in 2015, reached number 13 in UK charts, but still
remains a top song to get you in the mood for a big night out.
Jax Jones released this song earlier this year. This track didn’t get very high in UK charts, but
it deserves a spot on this playlist because of its undeniable catchy composition. Jones is a born and bred English artist who has featured on I Got U by Duke Dumont. This is definitely an artist to watch.
Tough Love and Ginuwine – Pony (Jump On It)
Originally released in 1996 by Ginuwine and reaching number one for two weeks in R'n'B/Hip
Hop Songs, it was time to re-released it. Tough Love took on this task. The duo gave the
track a re-vamp with a much faster beat. Their reversion peaked at number 12 in UK Dance
charts in 2015.
Tom Zanetti and Sadie Ama – You Want Me
Tom Zanetti has been making a huge name for himself by touring the world this summer.
This track follows up last year’s hit Darlin’, which reached over two million views on
YouTube.
