The bass, vocoders and spacey synths all combine to make this Discovery track a chill out classic. Great for an early rise or a late night, this track from 2005 perfectly blends Daft Punk’s slick modern style with a laid back 70’s feel.

Xxyyxx - Fields

Xxyyxx take the normally loud and over the top genre of Trap and make it something completely new. With harsh, claps and snaps layered to make a laid back track that sounds like its come from about 15 years in the future. Fields is both encapsulating as well as relaxing and thoroughly deserves its place here on the Mellow Monday playlist.

What So Not - High You Are (Branchez Remix)

This remix of the already awesome song by What So Not takes the original and makes it that much better. A great song for fans of EDM or just chilled music in general, this bass-heavy track perfectly blends a upbeat and downbeat style to make a memorable song that’ll stick in you head for days.

The xx -Chained

This song from 2012’s Coexist has the signature style of the xx’s cool and calm delivery. Sounding atmospheric but at the same time quiet and tranquil this classic xx track is the perfect way to start the week.
