Taylor Swift- Never getting back together

The pop singer threw shade at her ex, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, again. Their summer breakup is still being dissected but it’s pretty well reported that the song This is What You Came for was what caused the split to turn ugly. Their breakup turned toxic almost instantly (due to Hiddleswift and the DJ's track) and Taylor has just upped the anti once again. In her first concert of her tour she sang her and Calvin’s 'secret' song’.

Kanye West - Stronger

Last week it was announced that Frank Ocean's two new albums (which threw us all into a feeding frenzy) Endless and Blonde were not eligible for this year's Grammy nominations. They were told this was because paperwork was incorrectly filed, it has been widely reported that it was late, though it's not clear whether this was deliberate or not. Kanye West, however, has now thrown his hat into the ring and warned that if Frank's not nominated he'll boycott the Grammy Awards. Go Kanye.

Kings of Leon - Use Somebody

Seventh time lucky. Kings of Leon have finally made it to US number one. They have managed their first ever number one album in their native United States with their seventh album Walls, bumping Green Day off the top spot. The album shifted 77,000 units and 68,000 of them were in traditional album sales. Walls also topped the chart in the UK - their fifth consecutive studio album to do so, following Because of the Times, Only by the Night, Come Around Sundown and Mechanical Bull.

Drake - Take Care ft. Rihanna

In the wake of Drake’s 2016 success with Hotline Bling, One Dance and Too Good, the rapper has announced a new project called More Life and revealed it will be dropping in December. He posted a photo of the cover to his Instagram, The cover also rocks a pretty impressive sideburn and moustache picture of Drake's dad Dennis - who is himself a bit of a crooner.

Justin Bieber - Boyfriend

Another day, another Bieber drama. The Canadian singer walked out of his closing night show in Manchester. In the gaps between songs he asked his fans to stop screaming (let’s not forget screaming teens is why he’s famous in the first place) and when they wouldn’t, he walked off.

Bob Dylan - Knockin' on Heaven's Door

There's another twist in the seemingly never ending Bob Dylan Nobel prize winning saga. A member of the body that awards the prize has decided that the musician's silence since he was awarded the prize for literature is "impolite" and now it has been revealed if his silence isn't broken, he won't receive the £735,000 prize money.
