Scottish rockers, Franz Ferdinand have thrown their hat into anti-Trump ring with a new song, Demagogue.
Demagogue is a Greek word that literally translates to: “A political leader who seeks support by appealing to popular desires and prejudices rather than by using rational argument” making their views towards the Republican candidate crystal clear.
They're not alone. Demagogue has joined the 30 Days, 30 Songs campaign. 30 Days, 30 Songs is an independent website that will release one song per day from October 10 until Election Day.
Joining in alongside Franz Ferdinand are Death Cab for Cutie, Josh Ritter, Thao and many more to come. We are only 8 days into the 30 days and so far the campaign has songs called Before you Vote, Same Old Lie and With Love from Russia.
